Bio Remodeling Filler
A revolutionary ‘beneath the skin’ hyaluronic acid moisturising treatment. Made with the patent NAHYCO® technology. This results in a unique hyaluronic acid injectable gel, which has a prolonged stimulating activity on the dermal cells. Once injected into the skin, the skin cells receptors are stimulated to counteract skin laxity and improve and restore firmness of the skin.
It is a clear bio-reabsorbable hyaluronic gel of non-animal origin without preservatives. One of the highest concentrations of hyaluronic acid on the market. Bio-remodeling filler not only boosts and hydrates the skin, but also remodels ageing and sagging tissue.
Where can it be used?
The most common areas of treatment include the face and neck and can also be used for the décolletage, hands, arms, knees, and abdomen area where it would effectively treat skin laxity. The treatment is suitable for men and women as well as offering skin benefits for patients of all ages.
How does this “new” Bio-remodeling filler work?
Ultra-pure hyaluronic acid is precisely injected into the area being treated. Unlike wrinkle reducing and dermal filler treatments, this stimulates collagen and elastin, attracting water in the deeper layers of the skin.
As a stabilised product, the activity on dermal cells will last longer than that of a non-stabilised gel. During this time the stimulation of four different types of collagen and elastin takes place by slow release of hyaluronic acid.
The stimulation results in significant tissue improvement. Therefore, we cannot say that this brand of hyaluronic acid is a skin booster but instead acts as a bio-remodeller, as it has significant skin tightening/lifting effects on the tissue. Giving the skin a radiant glow and lift.
How is it performed?
Only 5 strategic injection points to the face, placed just under the skin and it spreads like honey in approximately 4 cm circle. Other areas are done similar. A thorough consultation for suitability, risk and side effects is required.
How many treatments do I need?
2 treatments, 1 month apart.
How long will it last?
Treatments normally last about 12 months and require a maintenance yearly. Individuals with a higher metabolism may require 6-8 monthly. The duration of the results may vary depending on skin type, treated area, quantity injected and injection technique.
What to expect after treatment?
You may or may not have some redness, pin prick marks.
Bruising is possible and will usually go in 3-7 days.
Product is injected in small deposits, you may be able to see them initially, but they usually settle in hours. It may be possible to see the product where it has been injected under the skin. It will settle, there is no need to massage.
Tenderness and swelling will subside in few days usually.
Aftercare
Make-up & moisturizer should not be worn for 12 hours.
Avoid alcohol and things that are blood thinners for 48 hours.
Avoid vigorous exercise for 48 hours.
Avoid sunbathing, and extremes of heat (steam rooms, infra-red /saunas, spas, heaters), or cold for 14 days after treatment.
Arnica or hirudoid will reduce any bruising
No laser, peels, facials, or cosmetic treatments for 2 weeks. Avoid fraxel and deeper resurfacing lasers for 6 weeks.
